The Arizona Canine Musical Freestylers invite you to bring your dog and get movin' to the music. Canine Musical Freestyle is a stimulating and fun activity for both dog and handler. Musical Freestyle features teamwork. The team spirit brings grace and beauty to a routine. Freestyle teams are happy teams. Musical Freestyle incorporates right and left side heeling, spins, twists, weaves, distance work and tricks, all done to the beat of your favorite music.
Workshops will get you started with all the right moves.
- Friday morning: Demonstrations and the opportunity to join in and move to the music
- Friday at 2:00pm: Introduction to Canine Musical Freestyle. Feel the beat. What does it say to you and your dog?
- Saturday at 11:00am: Learn the basics - circular moves
- Saturday at 2:00pm: Learn the challenge of parallel moves
- Saturday at 3:00pm: Lets put it all together - group routine - its fun. How do you know if you have never tried it?
- Sunday: Lets show off what we have learned. The basics for newcomers. Circular moves, parallel moves and group routines.
- Sunday at 11:00am: We will get you moving to the music. Strut your stuff - help will be available.
- Sunday at 12:00pm noon: group routine - come join us - no experience necessary
- Sunday at 2:00pm: Showcase of the stars - that means YOU! All weekend long, when no regular activities are scheduled, there will be demonstrations and the opportunity for everyone to "Move to the Music"
